Generalnie to oceniłbym ten rok jako średni... żeby po pół roku było tylko 12 albumów powyżej 8/10 to trochę mało gdyż nieraz w tym momencie miałem ich nawet z dwa razy więcej i w ogóle zauważyłem, że od 2020 następuje spadek ilości wydawanych bardzo dobrych albumów. Wyszło trochę rzeczy po których spodziewałem się przynajmniej 8/10 a tym czasem skończyło się na 7/10 i tu mogę wymienić nowości od: Burning Witches, Dawn of Ouroboros, Frozen Crown, Gorod, Ne Obliviscaris, Omega Infinity, Periphery, Suicide Silence natomiast Metallica ledwo się załapała na tę ocenę. Pod pewnym względem rozczarowało mnie The Ocean, oczywiście gdy zespół tej klasy rozczarowuje to kończy się na mocnym 8/10, jednak oni przyzwyczaili mnie do tego, że większość tego co wydawali po 2007 roku kończyło z oceną 10/10 na szczycie rocznego podsumowania (jedynym wyjątkiem było Pelagial z 2013, któremu dałem 9/10) i liczyłem po powtórkę a tym czasem z powodu niezbyt udanych eksperymentów z elektroniką, powolnością i lekkością musiałem obniżyć im notę. Nadal największym pozytywnym zaskoczeniem jest In Flames, które po 15 latach przerwy znowu wydali coś naprawdę godnego uwagi. Co do zapowiedzi to w tej chwili najbardziej liczę na dwa albumy z Christianem Alvestamem na wokalu: Ill-Wisher oraz Solution .45.
